Recipes inspired by our experience with Biosec
Fruit, vegetables, herbs, meat and pasta all require different drying conditions. Their water content, thickness, the most suitable temperature and the time needed to achieve the desired result all vary.
It was on the basis of this experience that Tauro developed Biosec dryers: ‘Made in Italy’ instruments designed to monitor the drying process in a simple and repeatable manner. All models utilise the electronic system Dryset Pro, with programmes designed for different foods, adjustable temperatures and time controls, along with its distinctive horizontal airflow.
The recipes collected here therefore also show What practical uses are there for a dehydrator?: from the simplest uses right through to more creative preparations such as jerky, fruit leather, crackers, powders, snacks and raw food recipes.
Which dehydrator should you choose for these recipes?
All these methods can serve as a starting point for exploring the possibilities of home drying. Choosing the most suitable Biosec model depends mainly on the quantity of produce you wish to process and the materials you prefer.
