Freezer bag cooking: cooking in a bag
That is rehydrate your food in the bag where you transported them (during the outdoor trip). Comfort is skyrocketing, don't you agree? However, it takes a bit of effort beforehand. Let's see how.
Ingredients
Basmati rice (pre-cooked and dried, similar to pasta) (P5 for approximately 16 hours)
Carrots, dried in thin slices (P2 for approximately 18 hours)
Minced meat with parsley, cooked and dried (P4 for approximately 14 hours)
“Potato bark, a dish made from potatoes in broth
Procedure
Bring all these ingredients with you – previously dried – in a bag certified to be resistant to high temperatures. Boil water in a small pot, pour it into the bag and massage it a little to mix the ingredients. Then place it somewhere warm while it rehydrates (a balaclava, a sleeping bag, a sweatshirt...), it will take about 10 minutes and then your dinner will be ready! Incredible, isn't it?
