Technical Information

BIOSEC It is a dryer designed to meet every need, easy to use, made in Italy using materials certified for contact with food.

The dryer consists of:

1. a group fan heater,removable, which produces hot air by heating the ambient air via a heating element and pushing it towards the baskets via a fan;
2. a plastic or steel tunnel,square section, in which the plastic or steel baskets are placed, depending on the model;
3. one door of closure, mobile, attached with a handle with a magnet to the tunnel. The thermo-ventilating unit and the closing door are fitted with grilles to allow the passage of air but not of insects;
4. baskets perforated for the placement of the material to be dried, to be placed inside the tunnel using the sliding guides; the number and construction material of the baskets is variable according to the model of BIOSEC purchased.

The supplementary module consists of:

1. a tunnel as in the large base module;
2. 10 or 12 baskets (depending on the model purchased).

Dimensions and specifications

For all modules, the external cross-section is 27×27 cm; the interior of the tunnel has a cross-section of 25×25 cm, whilst the length is 45 cm for the small module (B5-B5S- B6) and 82 cm for the large module (B10-B10S-B12); 82 cm for all supplementary modules.

The baskets of both materials, plastic and stainless steel, are all conveniently dishwasher-safe.

The resistance is 550 watts and the ignition is electronically regulated.

Location of Biosec

Like any electrical appliance, the fan heater unit from BIOSEC It must not come into direct contact with water or a source of steam. BIOSEC It must therefore be positioned at least 60 cm away from taps, sinks and basins, and sheltered from rain or any splashes of water.

During operation, BIOSEC It expels moisture, which must not be allowed to accumulate in the surrounding environment so as not to slow down or prevent the drying process. It is therefore advisable to place BIOSEC in a room that is sufficiently spacious or, at the very least, one that can be properly ventilated.

Avoid areas that are already damp, such as bathrooms, utility rooms, cellars, etc.

Make sure you always leave at least 10 centimetres of space around the two mesh openings to allow air to circulate freely: the unique horizontal airflow system and the DrySet Pro electronic motor will guarantee excellent results, optimising both time and costs.
