
There are some products that can truly be considered the fundamentals of drying, to be prepared and kept in the kitchen, ready for use and to be prepared again whenever they run out.
Strawberries
Using seasonal, fragrant and ripe ones, simply slice them thinly and place them in the dryer on the programme. P1 for approximately 8 hours.
Yoghurt
In this case, it's fine. even an expired jar (this happens often, as long as it is within 10 days), spread on the sheets provided or baking paper and dry using the programme. t4 for approximately 10 hours. You will obtain a crispy sheet that can be stored in pieces and added to various dishes for a pleasant, tangy flavour.
Onions
Peel and slice thinly, then dry using the programme. P1 for approximately 8 hours or at least until they have lost their moisture, then store them in an airtight container. Use them in soups, sauces, meat and fish dishes...
Leeks and spring onions
We often discard up to 50%, which is almost all of the green parts. Instead, we can cut them into strips and dry them using a programme. P2 for approximately 8 hours, which are very useful for sautéing, broths, soups...
Mushrooms
Always welcome in soups or risottos. Slice them thinly and dry them until they have lost their moisture, store them in an airtight container and consume within six months. Programme P2 for approximately 12 hours.
